Grad Night Fundraiser

SLV Grad Night has been a safe and sober celebration for 39 years. Many of you reading this article probably attended the event when you were a student at SLV High! The success of the event largely depends on fundraising efforts. This year's fundraisers begin with the Wine, Beer and Chocolate event on March 11th at Scopazzi's Restaurant in Boulder Creek scopazzisrestaurant.com to be held from 1-4pm. There will be a silent auction, tastings, and much more. Tickets are only $25 and can be purchased at the door or, better yet, online at slvgradnight.com .

You can also support the celebration and get some shopping done all at once! Thursday March 2nd is a Community Day Event at Wild Roots Market. The market will donate 5% of all sales from that day to Grad Night.

Another way to contribute is through the GoodWill Event. There will be two GoodWill events happening, the dates of which are yet to be determined. Here's how the event works: GoodWill provides a trailer to which gently used items can be donated (please, no furniture). Both GoodWill and community volunteers will staff the events. You can find out more information and sign up to volunteer at www.signupgenius.com/go/30E094AA8A622AB9-grad . The GoodWill events have raised up to $2000 in past years - let's see if that can be topped in 2023!

Shop the See's Candies Grad Night Storefront until March 24th and a portion of the proceeds will help fund the graduation celebration. You can pic your treats at https://www.yumraising.com/secure/slvhsgn_spring_for_grads5/AmyArr8048/ . There are beautiful boxed selections and gift cards available as well as free shipping for order of $70 or more.

No matter how you choose to support the valley graduates, you can get something in return while you ensure that they have a safe and positive send-off into the next chapter of their lives. It's a win-win for everyone!
