Pint & Paint with Yeshe Jackson

Updated: Apr 14

Local artist Yeshe Jackson is hosting Pint and Paint classes at the Sawmill. The last event at the Sawmill, in April of this year, sold out in just two days. Those in attendance were expertly guided through the steps to paint the beautiful image above of a forest above the clouds. Each person did an outstanding job and had a great time.

There is no requirement for experience or talent. The class is meant to be enjoyed by beginners as well as experienced painters. As you can see, everyone took home a work of art!

Classes cost $50. This fee covers a 16 x 20" canvas, acrylic paints (the same as what Yeshe uses in his own studio), all other supplies needed, two hours of instruction and your first drink. The next class at the Sawmill is happening on May 9th from 6-8pm. You'll be painting this tranquil forest above. You can get tickets for it at www.yeshejacksongineart.com. But, don't wait! Remember, the class in April sold out in just two days!

If you spend any time in downtown Boulder Creek, you can't miss Yeshe's artwork. Among many pieces of art he's painted for others in town, the Boulder Creek Business Association commissioned a mural in 2017 on the south and west sides of Johnnie's Market that depict important people and times in Boulder Creek's history. Yeshe did an outstanding job bringing our vision to life. Each panel of the mural tells a story. If you haven't done so already, we invite you to take a walk through downtown and stop for a look at each panel. While you're there, you can take a selfie at the postcard panel.

We at the BCBA are looking forward to the next Pint and Paint class. We hope to see you there!
